MinSoo Go (the “Developer”) complies with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, and publishes this Privacy Policy for “Amadoo” (the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Amadoo has no sign-up and never asks for your name, email, or phone number.
- All data you enter — schedules, timetables, memos, duties — is stored on your device and in your own iCloud account, and is not stored on the Developer’s servers.
- iCloud storage is used only to sync your data across your devices. It lives in your personal iCloud space provided by Apple, and the Developer cannot access it.
- The only exception: when you explicitly run the AI duty roster analysis feature, your roster photo is transmitted for analysis as described in Section 4.
2. App Permissions
The Service optionally uses the following permissions:
| Permission | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Notifications | Event reminders and a daily 7 AM summary of your schedule | Optional |
| Camera | Photographing your duty roster (Monthly Duty Sheet feature) | Optional |
You can change permissions anytime in iOS Settings. Selecting photos from your library uses the iOS system picker, which requires no photo library permission.
3. Network Communication
The Service communicates with external services only for the purposes below.
| Destination | Purpose | Data Transmitted |
|---|---|---|
| Korea Public Data Portal (data.go.kr) | Fetching Korean public holiday information | None |
| Apple iTunes API | Checking for app updates | None |
| Apple iCloud | Syncing data to your own iCloud account | Your entered data (stored only in your iCloud) |
| RevenueCat | Verifying and restoring subscription status | Anonymous identifier, App Store purchase receipt |
| Firebase / Amplitude | Anonymous usage statistics for product improvement | Anonymous identifier, screen/feature events (no personal identification, no ads or tracking) |
| Developer’s relay server (Cloudflare) and Anthropic | AI duty roster analysis (Section 4) | The roster image you select |
4. AI Duty Roster Analysis (Monthly Duty Sheet)
The following happens only when you explicitly run the analysis in the premium “Monthly Duty Sheet” feature:
- What is transmitted: the roster photo you took or selected, the name/employee number you entered to locate your row, and an anonymous subscription identifier.
- How it is processed: the image passes through the Developer’s relay server (Cloudflare Workers) and is analyzed by the AI processor (Anthropic, Claude API).
- Storage: the roster image is never stored on any server (it is processed transiently and discarded). Results are stored on your device; a copy of the analysis result is kept on the relay server for up to 40 days and then automatically deleted, solely so that re-analyzing the identical image does not consume your monthly quota again (keyed to an anonymous identifier and used for no other purpose). A per-month usage count keyed to an anonymous identifier is kept for the same period. Anthropic does not use transmitted data to train AI models and deletes it after a limited retention period for operational and safety purposes.
- Please note: a roster photo may contain third-party information such as coworkers’ names and shifts. Extracted coworker information is stored only on your device and is never shared. You are responsible for checking your workplace policies before transmitting images containing third-party information.
- If you never use this feature, no image is ever transmitted.
International Transfer
During AI analysis, the roster image is temporarily transferred to overseas processors:
| Recipient | Country | Purpose | Data | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | USA | Relaying the analysis request and retaining a result copy | Roster image (transient), analysis result | Image not stored; analysis result auto-deleted after up to 40 days |
| Anthropic, PBC | USA | AI image analysis | Roster image | Deleted after a limited retention period; not used for training |
5. Third Parties and Processors
The Developer never sells or shares your personal information. The following processors are used to operate the Service:
| Processor | Task |
|---|---|
| RevenueCat, Inc. | Subscription status management |
| Anthropic, PBC / Cloudflare, Inc. | AI roster image analysis (only when you run it) |
| Google (Firebase) / Amplitude | Anonymous usage statistics |
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your data is stored on your device and in your own iCloud. Deleting the app removes on-device data; iCloud-synced data can be deleted in iOS Settings (Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage App Data).
- Roster images and analysis results are stored on your device and can be deleted in the app at any time. A copy of the analysis result kept on the server to prevent duplicate quota deduction is automatically deleted after up to 40 days.
7. Your Rights
You can view, edit, and delete your data directly in the app at any time.
