Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the mobile application Mwodeora (the “Service”) provided by the developer Minsoo Ko (the “Developer”), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of users and the Developer.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Service” means the Mwodeora app for iOS and its related features: saving links and screenshots, organizing them into folders, search, reminders, and importing KakaoTalk chat export files.
- “User” means a person who uses the Service under these Terms.
- “Card” means one link, text or screenshot saved in the Service; “Folder” means a group of cards.
Article 3 (Effect and Changes)
- These Terms take effect when posted on this website.
- The Developer may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law, and will post the changes with the effective date and reasons at least 7 days in advance.
Article 4 (Provision and Changes of the Service)
- The Developer strives to provide a stable Service.
- The Developer may change or discontinue all or part of the Service (such as the folder suggestion method or supported import formats) for operational or technical reasons.
- Link previews (title and thumbnail) and AI folder suggestions or titles depend on responses from external websites and AI services and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Suggestions are proposals only; the User decides where a card is filed.
Article 5 (Paid Service)
- The Service is free for up to 5 folders and 20 cards per folder (100 cards across folders). Beyond that, paid passes are offered through App Store in-app purchase. When a paid pass ends, saved cards and folders are never deleted or hidden; only adding new cards beyond the free range is restricted:
- Mwodeora Lifetime: a non-consumable pass purchased once
- Mwodeora Monthly: a subscription that renews every month
- Both passes provide the same benefits and differ only in duration. The scope of benefits is as shown on the app’s pass screen, and the free allowance and benefits may change for operational reasons. Cards already saved remain viewable, searchable, deletable and exportable regardless of the free allowance.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation is done in iOS Settings > Subscriptions.
- Payment, cancellation and refunds follow Apple App Store policies and procedures. Purchases can be restored with the Apple account used for the purchase.
- Prices may change with prior notice; purchases already made are not affected.
Article 6 (Data Retention)
- Cards and folders are stored only on the User’s device and in the User’s own iCloud; they are not sent to the Developer’s servers.
- To guard against data loss from app deletion, device reset or iCloud setting changes, the User should keep a separate copy using the app’s export feature when needed. The Developer is not liable for such data loss.
- Photos the User confirms and deletes while tidying screenshots are handled under the iOS Photos app’s policies; the Developer is not liable for photos deleted by the User’s choice.
Article 7 (User Obligations)
Users must not:
- Save or share content that infringes others’ copyright, portrait rights or personal information
- Interfere with normal operation of the Service, including attempts to bypass free allowances or AI usage limits
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service
- Violate applicable laws or public order
Article 8 (Intellectual Property)
- Copyright and intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, design, logo and text, belong to the Developer.
- Rights to the content of cards saved by the User belong to the User or the original rights holder. The Service displays titles and thumbnails of saved links for preview purposes only.
- Users may not copy, distribute, sell or create derivative works of the Service without the Developer’s prior consent.
Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Developer is not liable when the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure, including natural disasters, network failures, or outages of external websites, AI services or Apple services.
- The Service is provided “as is”. The Developer does not guarantee specific outcomes the User may expect, such as the accuracy of folder suggestions, whether a link preview appears, or when a notification arrives.
- The Developer is not responsible for the content, changes or removal of external content that saved links point to.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service are brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
Supplementary Provision
These Terms apply from October 14, 2026.
